NO DEPOSIT NECESSARY—just pay the $99 per person when you arrive. CONVENIENT SCHEDULE—10am certain Sundays in Wallingford CT or Nashua NH. EASY TO REGISTER—Email JohnC **at** yankeepistol.com with legal names including middle initials so I can prepare the paperwork (many gun owners' family members enroll not for a permit but for the safety knowledge). |
| The Instructor | The Student (You) | The Class | The Goal |
| I have been teaching firearm training and safety instruction in New England for several years and I am listed officially on the NRA website as a certified instructor. I use my NRA IPA certification to teach the NRA Basic Pistol Course and the First Steps program. | You can take this course for a handgun or concealed carry permit (CCW) in many states (including out-of-state & non-resident firearm licensing), or simply for the safety knowledge. I have taught young, old, male, female, and sometimes entire families, from as far as NJ and FL. | The class comprises (1) a demonstration of gun safety, gun & ammunition components, and shooting technique; (2) a multiple choice test to see if you were awake; and (after we review every test answer to ensure everyone's clarity) (3) a practice session with a 22-caliber handgun. | The purpose of
the NRA-certified course is to teach the (1) knowledge, (2) skills, and (3) attitude
necessary for safe firearm handling. Demonstrate these requirements
and earn a certificate of proficiency. Email: JohnC**at**yankeepistol.com Pistol Permit Application Information by State |
